Dents & Scratches

From parking dents to bumper scuffs and paint scratches, we assess the damage first and recommend a repair method suited to the panel and finish.

Overview

How we help

Minor looking damage varies greatly. A shallow dent with intact paint may suit paintless dent repair, while creases, cracked paint, plastic damage or deeper scratches can need a conventional body repair.

We look at the position, depth and finish before setting expectations. That avoids booking a quick cosmetic process for damage that needs more careful work.

What is included

  • Assessment of dents, creases, scuffs and scratches
  • Advice on paintless or conventional repair suitability
  • Colour and finish considerations
  • Clear repair scope before work begins
  • Completion and finish check

Step by step

How it works

  1. 01

    Send or show the damage

Clear photographs help with an initial view, although inspection may still be needed.

  2. 02

    Choose the method

We explain the repair approach suitable for the damage.

  3. 03

    Book the work

Timing is confirmed based on scope and availability.

  4. 04

    Check the finish

The repaired area is reviewed before handover.

The smallest suitable repair is usually the best starting point

We assess whether a localised technique is appropriate before recommending wider refinishing. Safety related or structural damage is handled separately.

Clear answers

Questions about dents & scratches

Can every dent be repaired without paint?

No. Paintless dent repair generally requires accessible, suitable metal damage with intact paint. Creases, stretched metal and paint damage may need a conventional repair.

Can deep scratches be polished out?

Only scratches within the upper clear coat may respond to polishing. If the colour or primer layer is exposed, refinishing is usually required.

Can you assess damage from photographs?

Photographs can support an initial view, but reflections and hidden damage can be misleading. We may need to inspect the vehicle before confirming the repair method.
